Model history
The Opel Kadett B was presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show in late summer 1965 and marked a consistent further development of the predecessor model Kadett A. The vehicle was enlarged in almost all dimensions: Both the overall length and the wheelbase grew by around 5%, the width increased by 7% and the unladen weight rose by 9%. Despite these additions, the basic version of the saloon was 10 mm flatter. Production of the Kadett B ended in July 1973, before the successor model was introduced in August of the same year. In contrast to the Kadett A, the Kadett B was developed on an independent platform and was no longer directly linked to its British sister model, the Vauxhall Viva.

Comments of this past auction
LG Tom
