Model history
Introduced in 1959, the Porsche 356 B was adapted to the requirements of the American market with the new T5 body. The bumpers and headlights were positioned higher, and the interior was given lower seats and a new steering wheel. The T6 body followed in 1961 with larger windows, two engine ventilation grilles and a side fuel filler cap in the fender. These updates improved both the design and the practicality of the 356 B. The 356 Hardtop Coupé is a particularly rare body style of the 356 B, which was only produced by Karmann for a short period of time.

Questions and Comments
LG Tom
