The second generation of the Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class (model series C209/A209) was produced between 2001 and 2009 and comprises two body variants: a two-door coupé (C209) and a two-door cabriolet (A209). The Cabriolet was manufactured at the Karmann plant in Osnabrück and was the last complete vehicle to be produced there before the production facility was closed. In 2010, the model series was replaced by the Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupé and Cabriolet (C207/A207).
