Vehicle description

Model history:

With the market launch of the DB7 in 1994, the British car manufacturer Aston Martin revived the traditional model designation DB. This goes back to the initials of David Brown, the former owner of the brand. The DB7 was the first model after two decades to be powered not by a V8, but by a six-cylinder engine and in later variants by a V12 engine. Initially, the DB7 was only offered as a coupe, followed at the end of 1995 by Aston Martin as a Volante convertible. In 2004, the DB7 was finally replaced by the DB9.

General information about the vehicle:

In this auction an Aston Martin DB7 from 2002 can be bought at auction. The vehicle was delivered to the Tamsen dealership in Seckenhausen and sold to the second owner in Sweden in 2006. The current owner has brought the car back to Germany and taken it over into his collection without registration. Since 2016, the DB7 has rarely been moved. According to the seller, the sports car is accident-free and matching numbers are also given. The main inspection was carried out recently, so that it is not due again until February 2025.

Exterior colour/varnish/body:

Due to the significantly larger fog lights, it is easy to see that this DB7 is already the facelift model with the new V12 engine.

The Aston Martin is painted in a classic Grigio alloy metallic. According to the seller, the car has already been partially repainted on the front bumper. The owner states that at the request of the future buyer, he can repaint the bumper with a professional, since a slight nuance difference is visible in strong sunlight. In addition, there are slight scratches and stone chips corresponding to the age.

Exterior rims/brakes/chassis:

The tyres of the original 19-inch Aston Martin alloy wheels have recently been renewed. The seller estimates the condition of the brakes at 50 - 70%.

Interior:

The elegant interior of the DB7 is dominated by black Conolly leather and walnut wood. The seat bolster of the driver's seat shows slight signs of wear and slight cracks can be seen in the wooden trim elements.

Mileage

The speedometer of the Aston Martin shows a mileage of only 55,800 kilometers. According to the seller, this mileage can be proven. In addition, a checkbook is available, which, however, was not kept completely.

Engine:

Under the long hood of this sports car hides a 6-liter V12 with 426 hp. The power is transmitted to the rear axle via a 5-speed automatic transmission, while the gears can also be shifted manually on the steering wheel or on the selector lever. In February 2023, the last service was carried out, in the course of which all liquids were changed. The seller describes the underbody as stainless.

Who is this car for?

As is typical for the manufacturer, the DB7 combines sportiness and luxury. This accident-free model convinces with its comprehensible history, the classic color combination and the low mileage.
