Vehicle description

At the Geneva Motor Show in 1999, Porsche presented the first sports version of the 996. To the surprise of many observers, the new sports car was equipped with an abbreviation previously unknown to Porsche: GT3. Thus, the well-known labels CS and RS belonged to the past and were only an addition to the racing versions of the GT3. But the basic principle remained the same: less weight and more power was the credo of the 911 GT3. Without insulation material and with the omission of the rear seat, the GT3 was lightened by over 30 kilograms compared to the 911 Carrera. The new Porsche top-of-the-range model was also the first production 911 to drive faster than 300 km/h.

Now you have the opportunity to purchase a Porsche 996 GT3 from the year of construction 2000 with first registration in February 2001. The first delivery of this sports car with the FIN WP0ZZZ99Z1S690531 took place to Japan, over the years the GT3 then came to Germany. A history of the Porsche can be presented according to the seller's information, in total the vehicle counts 3 owners. 2 car keys are enclosed with the 911, matching numbers are given according to the seller with this GT 3. If necessary, the current owner has the TÜV renewed.

External modifications, defects or damage cannot be attributed to the white painted body of this Porsche 911 GT3 – only the front left fender was repainted after consultation with the current owner, otherwise this 911 impresses with its first paint. The rear spoiler of the GT3, which is in perfect condition with this vehicle, catches the eye. Also in the front area there are neither stone chips nor scratches in the headlights or the windscreen: Overall, the body and all add-on parts of the car present themselves in a well-preserved and well-kept condition without deficits.

Michelin tyres from 2012 in the dimensions 225/40 on the front axle and 255/30 on the rear axle are mounted on 18-inch GT3 multi-spoke rims, which are in very good condition. The brake system is to be attested to an apparently good condition, in the area of the chassis no defects can be detected.

If you open the door of the 911 GT3, you will immediately see the full leather bucket seats with red straps, which can be found in a good state of preservation. The 3-spoke leather lankrad has hardly any signs of wear and the gear knob is lock-free. Damage or missing parts in the interior of this Porsche are not to be criticized, the entire interior is clean according to the low total mileage. According to multi-equipment codes, the following features can be found on board the GT3: embroidered floor mats, front centre console, on-board computer and Porsche Exclusive parts.

This GT3 has covered almost 52,000 kilometres since its delivery: the total mileage of the car can be traced via documents and various documents. All instruments in the interior perform their duties without any problems.

The so-called "Mezger engine" of the Porsche 996 GT3 delivers 360 hp at 7,200 rpm: the maximum torque is 370 NM at 5,000 rpm. A manual 6-speed transmission brings this power to the road via the rear wheels. According to the seller, a service was only recently carried out, defects in the technology are not known. On the underbody, the condition of the vehicle can be attested to a condition corresponding to the mileage: rust or other defects can not be detected on the underside of the car. The GT3 is traditionally the 911 with the highest proportion of motorsport genes: whether road or circuit – the future owner will have fun with this GT3 here and there.
