Initially introduced as the 2800 CS, the model was replaced in 1971 by the 3.0 CS and 3.0 CSi variants. The 3.0 CS had an in-line six-cylinder engine with twin carburetors, enlarged to 2,986 cc, and produced 180 hp. From 1971 to 1975, around 4455 units of the 3.0 CS were produced.
