Model history

The Jeep Wrangler is a good example of the fact that cult does not necessarily have anything to do with sophistication. In 1987, the Wrangler replaced the so-called CJ-7: The body was very similar to its predecessor, and the option of open-top driving was also retained. The first generation of the Jeep Wrangler, the YJ, which was best known for its angular headlights, rolled off the production line until 1995. The successor (TJ) then had rounded headlights again, as was the case with the CJ models, and was built until 2006. The Wrangler model is now in its 4th generation at Jeep. The early models in particular still exude a certain charm of the original Jeep: But a Wrangler - regardless of which generation - is simply part of the Jeep legend.
