Model history

The Mercedes-Benz 190 SL was produced from 1955 to 1963 as a stylish and more affordable alternative to the 300 SL. With its 1.9-liter four-cylinder engine and elegant body, it offered a mixture of sportiness and comfort. Available as a convertible or with a hardtop, it enjoyed great popularity. After around 25,800 units had been built, the 190 SL was replaced by the 230 SL "Pagoda" in 1963 and is now one of the most sought-after Mercedes-Benz classics.

LG Tom
