Model history

The 1967 Ford Mustang T5 is a special variant of the legendary Ford Mustang that was developed specifically for the German market. Due to the rights of the truck manufacturer Krupp to the name Mustang in Germany, Ford had to change the name for the German market and chose T5. The 1967 Mustang T5 is characterized by its sporty body and powerful engines, making it a popular classic among car enthusiasts. This model year introduced design changes such as a wider and more aggressive look as well as improved performance. The T5 was available in several body styles, including coupe and convertible, and offered a variety of engine options. Despite its name change, the T5 retained the iconic features of the Mustang and became an important part of Ford's history in Germany.
