Vehicle description

Model history:

The abbreviation "GTA" at Alfa Romeo is reminiscent of the legendary Giulia Sprint GTA built from 1965 for use in touring car racing, where the "A" stands for "Allegeritta" and German means "relieved". After a long break, the abbreviation GTA reappeared for the first time in 1992: on the Alfa Romeo 155, then the Alfa 156 GTA was used and in 2003 the 147 GTA was added. In the same compact class car from Alfa Romeo called 147, the Italian carmaker planted a 250 hp 3.2-liter V6 engine. In the scene, this engine is known as the Busso V6, because its basic design with a cylinder angle of 60 degrees goes back to a development by Giuseppe Busso. The 147 GTA is home to the most powerful version of this Busso V6.

General information about the vehicle:

Now an Alfa Romeo 147 GTA from the year 2005 can be bought in this auction, which was imported from Japan with the FIN ZAR93700003295165 and, according to the seller, has two owners. Based on an existing checkbook, which has been partially kept, the history of the GTA can be traced back approximately. The vehicle is currently not approved, but this Alfa Romeo already has a valid TÜV until October 2024. Worth mentioning are the so-called matching numbers, which are completely given in this car after consultation with the seller.

Exterior colour/varnish/body:

In terms of paintwork, this Alfa Romeo 147 GTA delivered here in black has already received a fresh paint job in the area of the fenders over the years - but the current owner mentions that the car in current ownership has run accident-free. On the body apparently no defects can be detected, which could cloud the good impression of the exterior of this Alfa Romeo - also all attachments are available in complete and well-preserved condition. Specific to the 147 GTA are the spoilers, aprons and flared fenders, which give the car more expression and confidence.

Exterior rims/brakes/chassis:

Tyres of the brand Toyo from the production year 2014 are mounted on original Alfa Romeo alloy rims, which according to the sellers have slight signs of wear. Tyres and brakes attest the current owner a condition between 50-70%. Obviously, no modifications deviating from the original condition were used in terms of chassis.

Interior:

In terms of color, there is a mixture of beige and black in the interior of this Alfa Romeo 147 GTA. The seller mentions that the interior of the car is in an age-appropriate condition and small signs of wear can be found here and there. However, gross defects or even missing parts can apparently not be complained about inside the GTA. In addition to full leather seats and heated seats, this vehicle also has air conditioning, a multifunction steering wheel and a display radio. For a detailed overview of the interior, we refer to the other photos of the vehicle.

Mileage

Round instruments in deep caves, which are nested within each other, radiate a certain sportiness: On the display in the speedometer 45,063 kilometers can be read, which can be traced by a partially existing checkbook. According to the seller, all displays and instruments in the interior of the GTA prove to be fully functional.

Engine

The 3.2-liter V6 engine of this Alfa makes 250 hp and offers a maximum torque of 300 Newton meters. The power of the powerful Busso V6 is delivered to the front wheels via a manual 6-speed manual transmission. According to the seller, last service work took place at KM stand 45,000.

Subsoil:

The underside of the 147 is rustproof and unwelded. An Alfa Romeo 147 GTA is an easily everyday Italo sports car with powerful V6 technology and great sound. A car for connoisseurs and experts, in which the famous V6 busso is the focus and which could also be interesting for collectors due to its small number of just over 5,000 copies.
