In 2006, Audi launched the R8 (internal type designation: 42), a sports car powered by a V8 engine with a displacement of 4.2 liters. The R8 set new standards in terms of design and performance. Inspired by Audi's Le Mans racing car, it combined breathtaking looks with impressive performance. Audi later expanded the engine range to include the R8 V10 with a 5.2-liter V10 engine that offered even more power. The second generation, launched in 2015, introduced the more powerful R8 V10 Plus, which accelerated from 0 to 100 km/h in under 3 seconds.
