The Mercedes-Benz W 109, produced from 1965 to 1972, was a luxury-class model with special air suspension and exclusive equipment. The 300 SEL 6.3 was particularly outstanding, with a 6.3-liter V8 engine producing 250 hp and a top speed of 220 km/h, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.5 seconds. These models, designed by Paul Bracq, were characterized by innovative technology such as the Bosch multi-stamp injection pump and early electronic injection systems.
