Ich habe selbst einen 67er Ford Mustang Cabrio und suche eine Fachwerkstatt, die ein paar Restarbeiten wie Dachgestänge- und Fenstereinbau etc. am Mustang anbieten kann, wäre das hier möglich?
Technik: Der Mustang des Modelljahrs 1967 war die erste bedeutende Neugestaltung des Original-Modells. Die Designer von Ford begannen bereits mit der Entwicklung einer größeren Version, als das Original Verkaufserfolge erzielte, und während „Iacocca" sich später über das Wachstum des Mustang beschwerte, beaufsichtigte er die Neukonstruktion für 1967.“ Das wichtigste mechanische Merkmal bestand darin, den Einbau eines großen V8-Motorblocks zu ermöglichen. Die Gesamtgröße, der Innenraum und der Laderaum wurden vergrößert. Zu den Änderungen an der Außenausstattung gehörten konkave Rücklichter, seitliche Lufthutzen (Modell 1967) und verchromte Seitenverzierungen (Modell 1968), quadratische Rückspiegel sowie übliche jährliche Rad- und Tankdeckel-Wechsel. Die leistungsstarke 289-Option wurde hinter dem neueren 335 PS (250 kW; 340 PS) starken 390 cu in (6,4 l) FE-Motor des Ford Thunderbird platziert, der mit einem Vierzylinder-Vergaser ausgestattet war. Mitte des Modelljahres 1968 konnte ein Drag-Racer für die Straße mit dem optionalen 428 cu in (7,0 l) Cobra Jet-Motor bestellt werden, der offiziell eine Leistung von 335 PS (250 kW; 340 PS) hatte. Alle diese Mustangs erhielten R-Codes auf ihren Fahrgestellnummern.
