Vehicle description
Model history:
In 2001, the founder of Jaguar, Sir William Lyons, would have celebrated his 100th anniversary. The British luxury brand took advantage of this special event to launch the Jaguar XJR 100 as a limited special edition. Only 500 examples were produced, reflecting the incomparable taste of Sir William Lyons in terms of luxury and elegance. With an elegant black paint, high-quality leather interior and a wide range of features, this model impressively met the demanding requirements of the luxury brand. In addition, the anniversary model was also able to convince in terms of performance, thanks to its powerful V8 engine, which once again pointed out that Jaguar is actually a brand for sports cars.
General information about the vehicle:
You can now buy such an anniversary car for yourself in the following auction. The Jaguar XJR 100 offered here bears the VIN SAJAA15N32MF46867 and was first registered in 2002. After a successful auction, the motto here is: get in and drive off. This is because the Jaguar has a valid TÜV sticker until February 2024, has a German registration and is ready to drive. In addition, the owner confirms that the car is accident-free.
Exterior paint/paint/body:
The body is visually appealing in a black manufacturer's color, which aesthetically emphasizes the vehicle. The owner states that the appearance is in extremely neat condition. There are no signs of repainting or modifications. The attached series of pictures provides further impressions of the optical condition.
Exterior rims/brakes/chassis:
Silver 9-spoke rims with the red Jaguar logo in the middle skilfully complement the look of the British body. The 245/35 R19 Vredestein GiuGiaro tyres mounted on it have a good tread depth. The owner also certifies that the brake system is in good condition, estimating the state of use at 70 to 90%. There are no known discrepancies or modifications to the chassis that could affect the original condition.
Interior:
In the interior, a black leather interior with red accents together with the wood-look dashboard, a black four-spoke steering wheel and an elegant center console create an appealing overall picture. This is where the classic Jaguar charm is exuded. The Jaguar XJR 100 is also equipped with a wide range of features that increase driving comfort. These include power steering, central locking, power windows, heated seats, air conditioning, ABS and cruise control. A modern radio in conjunction with Alpine speakers ensures a pleasant sound experience.
Mileage:
The Jaguar has gained 213,000 km of experience over the years. Although there is no checkbook, the holder states that the value can be traced. It also certifies that the displays, instruments and other controls are in perfect working order.
Engine:
A top-class red thread runs through the entire vehicle. The Jaguar XJR 100 is powered by a powerful supercharged V8 engine with 367 hp. This is coupled with a precise five-speed automatic transmission that confidently transmits power to the axles. The last service was carried out in December 2022. According to the available information, both the engine and the technical components work perfectly.
Subsoil:
Despite the healthy number of kilometers, the underside of the Jaguar is in a rust-free and correspondingly good condition. Another perspective on this is provided by the series of pictures. After consultation with the current owner, he confirms that wear parts have been replaced in the course of a partial restoration and that the vehicle has been professionally refurbished.
The offered Jaguar XJR 100 presents itself both optically and technically in an immaculate condition. With its extremely limited production number, this vehicle becomes an absolute highlight for collectors and enthusiasts. It combines elegance and sportiness in a way that is in line with the wishes of founder Sir William Lyons.
