Vehicle description
Highlights and general information
For sale is a BMW Alpina 2002 tii from 1985 in the color dark green and an interior in black fabric with Alpina color accents. The absolute highlight is that this Alpina comes from the managing director of Manhart-Performance, who sells a few of his vehicles through us.
Highlights:
MANHART PERFORMANCE & EXHAUST SYSTEM
The two-liter M10 in-line four-cylinder in the ALPINA A4 version is located at the front of the sporty two-door. It is characterized by a single throttle system and a fan manifold from ALPINA. Thanks to the additional installation of a K&N airbox, the engine is significantly more powerful than in the "normal" BMW 2002 tii (130 hp / 178 Nm). 200 hp and 215 Nm are listed in the data sheet of the engine, which we have completely reconditioned and overhauled - plenty of power for an oldie from the 1960s weighing just one ton. The fact that the BMW expresses this power acoustically even more appealingly is thanks to the newly installed MANHART exhaust system.
MANHART SUSPENSION, BRAKES & WHEELS
Naturally, the 2002 tii should be able to counter the increased power with appropriate deceleration force when required. Even before it came to us, the ALPINA 2002 was equipped with the braking system of a 323i model from the successor series E21. And the driving dynamics were not neglected either: our mechanics installed a Raab coilover suspension by KW. It gives the 2002 tii a significantly more modern and sportier handling. In addition, the Wiechers strut brace provides more body rigidity. Road contact is provided by 215/40R16 and 225/40R16 tires. They are mounted on newly installed, original ALPINA multi-spoke rims measuring 8x16 inches all round. While in this case they are finished in classic silver, we also offer an individually configured finish on request. Thanks to 25 mm spacers from H&R, the wheels are perfectly flush with the fenders. These are noticeably wider due to the ALPINA wheel arch extensions - known to insiders as "pig cheeks" - which give the classic car a much stockier appearance.
MANHART EXTERIOR & INTERIOR
Another visual highlight are the decorative stripes and lettering of the characteristic ALPINA trim set. It extends in light green and silver over the body painted in the BMW color Agave Green. The bright green of the accent lines on the body can also be found in the interior: the seats feature stripes in this color as well as in blue. The driver and co-driver sit in sports seats by Scheel that we have refurbished. The rear is rounded off with a Clubsport roll bar.

Technik: Man könnte meinen, Tuner Manhart wäre nichts heilig. LG Tom
