The MG MGB Roadster was designed as a two-seater sports car and was produced from 1962 to 1980. The model quickly established itself as one of the most popular British roadsters of its time. In addition to the classic open-top variant, there were also various other versions: From 1965, the MGB GT Coupé was introduced as a 2+2 version with a fixed roof. From 1967 to 1969, the MGC was offered as a variant with a six-cylinder engine, followed by the more powerful MGB GT V8 version, which was available from 1973 to 1976. This variety of versions and the solid technology made the MGB a timeless classic with a loyal following.
