- The Mercedes is equipped with a 2.7-liter inline six-cylinder naturally aspirated engine, which transmits 160 hp to the rear wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission and reaches a top speed of 200 km/h.
- The last service was carried out in April 2024 at a mileage of 8,300 by the Mercedes-Benz classic car workshop HK-Engineering. The engine, spark plugs and brakes were checked, the idle speed adjusted and the transmission oil changed.
- Carfactory Berlin had previously carried out a service in August 2022, which included replacing the engine oil, oil filter, various seals, the rear brakes and the fuel pump.
- Between 2020 and 2024, over €5,000 was demonstrably invested in the Mercedes. Among other things, a new sound system was installed, maintenance was carried out and the oil was changed. The complete invoices are available.

The Mercedes-Benz /8, also known as the Stroke Eight, was produced from 1967 to 1976 and comprised the W 114 (six-cylinder engines) and W 115 (four and five-cylinder engines) model series. With just under two million vehicles, it achieved almost the same number of units as all post-war Mercedes-Benz passenger cars before it. The robust /8 was replaced by the W 123 series and is now a popular classic car.
