Model history

The Ferrari 308 GTB was introduced in 1975 as the successor to the Dino 246 GT and marked the beginning of a new era for Ferrari road cars. Originally equipped with a 3.0-liter V8 engine and four twin Weber carburetors, the 308 GTB offered impressive performance and elegant lines designed by Pininfarina. In the early 1980s, the 308 GTB was converted to mechanical fuel injection, which resulted in slightly reduced performance but better met emissions standards. As well as being a commercial success, the 308 GTB was also present in popular culture, particularly through its prominent role in the TV series Magnum, P.I.. Until production was discontinued in 1985, the 308 GTB remained a symbol of Italian engineering and sporty driving pleasure.

The vehicle, which is being sold due to its age, has undergone a meticulous restoration, during which a damaged rear end was professionally repaired. A completely new trunk lining was fitted and both doors were fitted with new sheet metal below the door. All rust spots found were thoroughly removed, making the 308 GTB shine in new splendor. This Ferrari is a real collector's item and offers a rare opportunity to acquire a piece of Italian automotive history.
