Vehicle description

Model history:

In 1971, a dream of a special kind became reality for the fan community of the E-Type: With the so-called "Series 3", a V12 engine with 5.3 liters of displacement finally worked under the long hood of the athlete! The conversion from six to twelve cylinders was actually more than overdue: Jaguar could not lose touch with the competition under any circumstances, and they had long relied on enormous performance increases. Furthermore, Jaguar decided that the E-Type is now based on the long wheelbase. Most of the Series 3 built from 1971 to 1974 was sold to export markets, only a relatively small part remained on British roads.

General information about the vehicle:

A Series 3 Jaguar E-Type with V12 engine can now be auctioned in this auction: This is a right-hand drive coupe from 1973, which carries the chassis number 1S51142BW and was delivered in England. In 1990, the Briton came to Germany, where he eventually stayed for 30 years. In Germany, a restoration of the car was also carried out. According to the seller, this E-Type has a total of 5 vehicle owners, most recently the Jaguar comes from a collection. It is also worth mentioning that the TÜV is still done before the handover to the new owner.

Exterior colour/varnish/body:

Due to the recent restoration work, the body of the Jaguar impresses with its all-round healthy condition, and all trim elements on the car are preserved in complete and at the same time as far as visible undamaged condition. After consultation with the current owner, no defects are recognizable on the white paint and even on closer inspection, this coupé convinces with its good visual condition. Modifications to the exterior deviating from the original condition are not to be mentioned.

Exterior rims/brakes/chassis:

On the original Jaguar chrome spoke wheels show whitewall tires of the brand Goodyear with apparently sufficient tread mounted. According to the seller, neither in the area of the brake system nor in the area of the chassis inconsistencies can be listed.

Interior:

Black leather fills the interior of the Jaguar E-Type V12: Because this coupe was delivered in England, it is a right-hand drive. Just like the exterior, the interior is also said to be in a well-maintained and neatly preserved overall condition. Damage or even missing parts are apparently not visible in the interior. Visually, the 3-spoke wood/aluminium steering wheel in the black interior of the Jaguar is particularly eye-catching. In order to get an exact impression of the features of this E-Type, we refer to the telling series of pictures of the vehicle.

Mileage

On the five-digit speedometer, a mileage of 66,490 kilometers can be read - a proof of this mileage is unfortunately no longer available, according to the seller. All instruments, displays and controls in the interior work perfectly.

Engine

Under the huge hood works a 5.3-liter V12 engine, which transmits its power of 271 hp via a 3-speed automatic transmission to the rear wheels. Technically, this E-Type is in a neat and harmless condition after consultation with the current owner.

Subsoil:

Underbody technically, this Jaguar obviously makes a healthy impression even on closer inspection. A Jaguar E-Type is an icon of British car construction, not only the beguiling silhouette makes an impression but also the V12 gives you goose bumps. This Jaguar E-Type is up for auction here is intended according to sellers for those people who are looking for an absolute British dream classic as a right-hand drive in good condition, which can also be easily moved in everyday life due to the automatic.
