Model history
The Volkswagen Transporter (Type 2) was Volkswagen's second production vehicle after the VW Beetle and was launched in 1950 with the T1. The second generation, the T2, was produced in Hanover from 1967 to 1979, with over 2.5 million units sold. In Germany, the T2 had an air-cooled 4-cylinder boxer engine in the rear, but later models from Mexico and Brazil were water-cooled. The T2b, built from 1972, brought improvements in safety and chassis, such as front disc brakes and seat belts. The T2b can be recognized by the angular indicators above the headlights.

Comments of this past auction
LG Tom
