Model history

When the VW T2 was introduced in 1968, the idea of the camper van was already firmly established and it was impossible to imagine the VW family without the VW camper. Similar to the T1, VW also offered special kits developed by Westfalia for the T2. These equipment packages bore the names of various European cities, including Oslo, Zurich, Rome, Madrid, Stockholm, Brussels, Paris, Amsterdam and Berlin. The T2b Westfalia in particular has established itself to this day as the most sought-after model among the Westfalia versions - especially in the "Berlin" equipment variant.

Summary of the vehicle

This VW T2b Westfalia Berlin is an absolute highlight being offered for auction. From 2nd hand, the classic car presents itself in a well-preserved condition, with a Classic Data valuation report with a grade of 2+. In the recent past, just under €25,000 was invested in refurbishing the camper. In the course of this, the engine was overhauled, the paintwork renewed, the drive overhauled and much more. In a very well-kept original condition, this VW T2b is both visually and technically impressive. Collectors and enthusiasts need to be quick, because a Westfalia in this condition is a rarity.
