The BMW 635 CSi is one of those cars that perfectly reflects the essence of their brand. As the top model of the E24 series introduced in 1976 on this side of the extreme M635 CSi, the 218 hp in-line six-cylinder engine really gave the previously comfortable 6 Series steam and thus driving pleasure. When the 635 CSi was launched, it was Germany's fastest four-seater coupé. The M30 six-cylinder engine and the driven rear axle are not the only elements typical of BMW: the classic coupé silhouette is rounded off by the Hofmeister kink, the shark-like front mask was in the range until the 90s, and the twin headlights remained even after the turn of the millennium.
Simply because of the diagonally pulled back front apron – which was popularly called "Sharknose" – the E24 gives a dynamic appearance when stationary. Although this BMW 635 CSi in the colour "Diamond Black Metallic" has lighter signs of use on the exterior corresponding to age, on the whole the body can be attested to a rust-free condition that is free of gross damage. It is assumed that the vehicle is in the first paint, but due to the age, repainting may not be excluded. Modifications deviating from the original condition are also not objectionable to the body of the E24.

Michelin tyres of dimension 240/45 are mounted on 15 inch BMW cross-spoke alloy wheels. The current owner states the condition of the tires as good, even the rims are according to this in a good condition to find. Apparently, no deficits can be detected in the brakes and there are obviously no defects in the area of the chassis.

Matching the exterior colour of this 635 CSi, the interior of the coupé is also kept in black: only slight patina can be removed from the full leather sports seats with leg rest adjustment – serious damage to the entire interior of the car is not objectionable. In addition to the sports seats, the following features are also to be noted in this 635 CSi: Electric seat adjustment with memory function, electric windows, electric sunroof, power steering, central locking, heated seats, air conditioning, ABS, cruise control, on-board computer, BMW sound system and a BMW radio. All equipment elements as well as the various displays and instruments have a problem-free function.

The cockpit inclined towards the driver facilitates operation, and 123,570 kilometres can be read in the instrument cluster: according to the seller, this mileage can be almost proven by various cancelled invoices and TÜV reports.

The 3.5-litre in-line six-cylinder naturally aspirated engine of this 635 CSi delivers 211 hp: the M30 engine became a legend and powered several BMW models from 1968 to 1994. The gearshift is handled by a 4-speed automatic. According to the seller, a service has already been completed recently, current defects in the powertrain are not noticeable on the E24.

Sealed with underbody protection, the apparently clean underside of the BMW 635 CSi presents itself. This E24 is equally suitable for both longer journeys and short distances: luxury and sport enter into an ideal liaison here. If you are looking for these characteristics together with a striking vehicle silhouette, you have found the right car with the E24.

The BMW E24 offered in this auction is a 635 CSi, which dates from 1988 and was registered for the first time in the Netherlands in May of the same year. This BMW with the FIN WBAEC610001280783 is supposed to have 3 vehicle owners according to the seller, it is known that the last owner of this E24 is a collector. Over the years, the 635 CSi was then imported to Germany, an almost traceable history to the BMW is available after consultation with the current owner. According to the seller, the TÜV will be renewed before it is handed over to the future owner, this E24 already has an H-approval. In addition to 1 set of keys, there is also a vehicle report on the car. Worth mentioning are the matching numbers noted by the seller.

Hallo, was für ein Fahrwerk ist bei dem 635 verbaut? Die verstellbaren Domlager sind ja nicht Original. Wird das Gutachten noch hochgeladen?
