Vehicle description
Lancia Delta – a name that stands like no other for the legendary World Rally Championships of the 80s and 90s. Both in the infamous Group B and in the subsequent Group A championship, the compact Italian dominated an era of motorsport, even leaving rivals such as the Audi Quattro with Walter Röhrl at the wheel behind him. But at first, at the presentation of the Delta at the IAA in 1979, nothing of the Italian's sporting career could be guessed: The initially available 1.3l and 1.5l engines seemed rather shy with a modest 75 and 85 hp respectively compared to the brute rally machines of the following years. However, the motorsport-experienced engineers of the Italian car manufacturer quickly recognized the potential of the Delta, and in the following years developed several performance levels of the compact, which paved the way for the triumph of the Lancia Delta in Group A with turbochargers and all-wheel drive. Through various further developments, the Delta HF Integrale was finally offered in 1987, a highly motorized variant for road traffic. Thanks to the increased displacement and turbocharger to just under 2 litres, the in-line four-cylinder engine now produced an impressive 185 hp, and the permanent all-wheel drive ensured sporty propulsion. Visually, too, the sporty ambitions of the HF Integrale were made clear by the wider track, fender flares and an air intake in the bonnet. The driving performance and the timeless design still inspire more than 30 years later, and helped the Delta HF Integrale to classic status at an early stage.
Here you now have the opportunity to buy a Lancia Delta HF Integrale 8V from the year of construction 1988. The car with the VIN ZLA831AB000415245 was registered for the first time in December 1988. It is an import from Italy, "matching numbers" are given. The exact number of previous owners cannot be determined, but the history of the vehicle is partially traceable by enclosed documents. According to the seller, the car comes from a private collection and has been extensively restored. The Lancia has a fresh TüV, and an H approval is also available. The vehicle comes with two main keys and a spare key. An expert opinion is not available. -
Externally, the Italian presents itself in red paint, which, according to the seller, has been completely renewed. Here, apparently, all-round expert work was done, because defects in the painting are not recognizable on the basis of the image material. The built-in steel sunroof provides a fresh breeze, and here too no complaints in appearance and mechanics can be detected.
In contrast to the red exterior color of the car are the mounted 17" OZ aluminum rims, whose white paint also seems to be free of defects. The mounted Michelin tires also look well-groomed, and are in good condition, according to the seller. The Lancia was subsequently fitted with a height-adjustable sports suspension, for which an operating permit is available. The seller attests that the brakes are in good condition, and no defects are known in the area of the chassis. According to the seller, the car is in accident-free condition.
The interior of the Integrale is kept in grey. Both the Alcantara or leather covers on the seats and side panels, as well as the contrasting red embroidery and seams look very well-groomed. The Recaro sports seats do not appear to show any signs of wear in the area of the driver's or front passenger seat. Also in the area of the center console and the fittings, the Lancia was equipped with leather, which also looks well-groomed. The retrofitted Pioneer radio provides the acoustic background, again, no defects are known.
Looking behind the three-spoke sports steering wheel at the tidy instruments of the Lancia, a mileage of 107,244km can be read, which is partly comprehensible by existing invoices and TüV reports. According to the seller, the instruments work without defects. Electric windows, power steering and central locking are part of the Lancia's other features in addition to the color glazing.
Under the hood of the Italian is the transversely mounted in-line four-cylinder with intake manifold injection and turbocharger, which produces an output of 181 hp with a displacement of 1,981 cm³. Power is transmitted by the built-in five-speed manual transmission. According to the seller, there are no complaints in the area of the engine or the technology, and there are no repairs pending. A new service is carried out at the vehicle handover.
The seller rates the condition of the subfloor as good, and here too, according to his statement, there are no known defects.
