For sale is a Jaguar XJ6 Coupé 4.2 from 1975, in the color Greensand, with leather interior.
Highlights:
- From 3rd hand, H license plate, accident-free, duty paid, registered and ready to drive in a very well-kept condition
- Owned by the current owner since 2018, who has invested both time and money in the Jaguar
- The following things were renewed and revised in 2018 Brakes, camshaft bearings, water pump, air conditioning compressor, all seals, servo pump, air conditioning lines with new R134a fill, heater box completely checked, left fender bump fixed, transmission completely checked and serviced, cavity sealant, wax treatment underbody, radiator & lines completely new, Lucas 6 cylinder 123/ignition with vacuum, new ignition coil, new ignition cables, Stromberg carburetor completely overhauled, EComplete thermal starter, valves adjusted and fitted with new washers, new battery, tires 5x new Vredestein, all wheel bearings new, upper & lower suspension joints, tie rod ends, fuel pumps completely cleaned and repaired, all load-bearing parts, bearings, etc., Exterior paintwork, (all invoices available)
- In 2019, the car was professionally serviced, new plugs and a new molded hose cooling water installed
- In 2020, the car was converted to a Stromberg carburetor on SU HIF 7 with choke (from 77 coupé), and a new viscous coupling was installed. Further maintenance was carried out in the same year
- In 2021, the cooling water was replaced, the wiper water pump was replaced and a new carpet was laid in the trunk (original is still present)
- 2022 the Jaguar got a new battery, new 2nd viscous coupling, a new aluminum air conditioning compressor, new air conditioning connections for R123a, new air conditioning valves
- 2023 an oil service was carried out, new front tires were mounted, the track was adjusted, a new electric antenna was installed and the fuel hose of the carburetor was replaced
- Matching numbers are given
- Rare example, only 8000 of these were built
- Valuation report from 2018 attests the Jaguar the grade 2
- Further valuation report from 2023 gives the Jaguar a grade of 3+

The Jaguar XJ6 Coupé 4.2 was first presented at the IAA in Frankfurt in 1975. Powered by a 4.2-liter six-cylinder in-line engine with 174 hp, the coupé offers elegant driving dynamics with a choice of manual four-speed transmission or automatic three-speed transmission. Inside, the Jaguar is equipped with elegant leather seats combined with wooden elements and electric windows. Production was discontinued in November 1977 after just 8,400 units, making the Jaguar a popular collector's item today.
