Model history

The Porsche 997, built from 2004 to 2012, is the sixth generation of the legendary 911 series and the successor to the Porsche 996. Under the design of Harm Lagaay, the classic round headlights returned. With the model update in 2008, the models were equipped with direct fuel injection, which increased performance, improved reliability and reduced fuel consumption.
