Technik: Ich behaupte der VW Käfer hat die meisten Verwendungs-und Aufbauvarianten! z.B. Von 1989 bis 2000 wurde der Käfer-Cup ausgetragen, eine Serie bestehend aus Slalom, Berg- und Rundstrecken rennen. Meine Generation kennt den VW Käfer damals als beliebtes Anfänger auto!! Der Käfer bot sich mit seiner Plattform-Bodengruppe geradezu dafür an, die unterschiedlichsten besonderen Aufbauten zu tragen. Unter Abkehr von der Plattform hatte VW selbst bereits Anfang der 1950er Jahre den VW-Transporter (Typ 2) aus dem Käfer entwickelt. Vorher waren schon in den späten 1940er Jahren, noch in britischer Besatzungszeit, Käfer zu Pick-ups umgebaut worden; unter Wegfall der hinteren Sitzreihe wurde über dem Motor eine kleine offene Ladefläche aufgebaut. Auch als Basisfahrzeug für Wohnmobile wurde der Käfer genutzt. LG Tom
