Model history

The BMW Z3 M Coupé, often referred to as the clown shoe, was first introduced in 1998 and was based on the successful Z3 Roadster. It was produced in two main versions, which differed in terms of their engine. The striking design with the long hood and sloping rear made it instantly recognizable. The revised version with the S54B32 engine followed in 2001 and was offered in both Europe and North America. These engines came from the BMW M3 series and gave the Z3 M Coupé an impressive performance. Production ended in 2002, but the Z3 M Coupé is now a coveted collector's item, prized for its unique design and sporty dynamics.
