Model history

After the Jaguar XK 120 and XK 140 models, the Jaguar XK 150, which was offered from 1957, was the final stage of development of this British sports car. The extensively revised car offered, among other things, a one-piece panoramic windshield and the body had grown in all directions and now also had a continuous rear bumper. As before, the engine was an in-line six-cylinder with a displacement of 3.4 liters, but a 3.8-liter in-line six-cylinder was also available later in the production run. By the end of production in 1961, a total of almost 9,400 XK 150s had been built - this model was eventually replaced by the Jaguar E-Type.
