The Rolls-Royce Silver Spur was the long-wheelbase version of the Silver Spirit, extended by 100 mm, and therefore offered even more space and comfort. Particularly noteworthy is the luxurious chassis, which provided an exceptionally smooth ride. In 1984, the Silver Spur was one of the most luxurious cars of its time, earning it worldwide acclaim. Another unique selling point was the virtually silent 6.75-liter V8 engine, which ran remarkably smoothly despite its size. As was customary with Rolls-Royce, the "Spirit of Ecstasy" radiator grille was enthroned on the hood, which automatically retracted when external pressure was applied to the model series.
