The Mercedes-Benz /8, also known as the Stroke Eight, was produced from 1967 to 1976 and comprised the W 114 (six-cylinder engines) and W 115 (four- and five-cylinder engines) model series. With just under two million vehicles, it achieved almost the same number of units as all post-war Mercedes-Benz passenger cars before it. The robust /8 was replaced by the W 123 series and is now a popular classic car.
