Vehicle description
Highlights and General
For sale is a 1971 VW Variant 1600 imported from Brazil, in a Bordeaux red paint and leather interior.
Highlights
- Partially restored
- Investments: Engine overhauled, inspection, conservation work, paint polish.
- A special piece of Brazilian Volkswagen history.
- Seller writes: The Volkswagens made in and for Brazil are a story in themselves! Exciting, because we know very little about it here, but also surprising, because one is often amazed to find out why, for example, the development of a VW 1600 based on the Beetle made more economic sense than the 1:1 adoption of the German Type 3? The Brazilian VW history is peppered with remarkable special paths! People will have had their reasons, and the demands of the South American market have produced some very attractive Volkswagens, such as the SP2 or the Karmann-Ghia TC.

Comments of this past auction
Sorry. Schon gegoogelt. Geht. Wusste ich nicht
Hallo. Tolles Fahrzeug.
