- In 1959 the second generation of the Jaguar MK 3.4 was introduced. It was designed by William Lyons, the founder of Jaguar himself. Equipped with a powerful 3.4 liter six-cylinder engine, the vehicle produced 160 hp. The Jaguar MK2 3.4 was a milestone in the history of Jaguar and contributed significantly to the success of the brand.
